Ermes Albatross Reel is a tough, precision-made, extremely strong, yet lightweight spearfishing reel, 100% made in Italy.

The green coloured reel spool is made from full Pom C, the best plastic for marine use, with more than 30% carbon fibre content. Spool part is embossed with Ermes brand, sizing and Albatross symbol. 

This is the latest reel from Ermes and the spool comes in a choice of 80mm or 100mm diameter, plus a choice of heights - low or high - with varying line capacity.

The metal parts such as the handle and the central shaft, are made from AISI 316 stainless steel, the handle is extractable to facilitate the winding of the line. The clutch knob works with a ball and a disc with 12 positions, this system allows you to adjust the force to be transmitted to the reel, useful for tiring the fish.

The clutch can be click-indexed to achieve the desired braking level. In practice it may be positioned with the desired tension and rest assured that it will maintain the selected position. It has a 3 concave, ergonomic shaped clutch knob that works with a ball and a disc with 12 positions. This system allows you to adjust the force to be transmitted to the reel, useful for tiring the fish.

80 models have a pull-out handle extends for improved retrieval and locks in for compactness. Handle has a positive locking pin and enables exceptionally fast retrieval with greater leverage. 100 models have a fixed retrieval knob on the bale face.

Reel frame includes an over-spooling rear guide finger with a stainless steel line guide and delrin eye.
